Hotpot is an east Asian method of cooking your dinner with a simmering pot of stock at your dinner table. Rather than ordering your dinner from a menu and having it cooked in the back kitchen, you get the experience of cooking your own meal in front of you. There are 3 main components to hotpot. Your choice of broth, your dipping ingredients and last but not least, your dipping sauce. Hotpot is a healthy alternative to traditional Asian restaurants as it emphasizes clean eating, an assortment of nutritious vegetables and protein to fill you up. Those living a vegetarian lifestyle of having food allergies, have no fear. You have the freedom to pick and choose what you want to eat and we can create the broth to best fit your need. To say the least, this experience is quite enjoyable for families and large groups of friends.
Hotpot World differentiates from your typical hotpot restaurant because we incorporate broths that come from all Asia. As you take your seat and choose a broth, you get a choice from 5 different stocks that come from different countries. Hotpot World allows you to choose a Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, Korean, and/or Mongolian Broth. The owner of Hotpot World wanted to merge these 5 countries and create a diverse environment for his customers so that they can have a unique dining experience like none before. Hotpot World is the first of its kind in Seattle because instead of ordering from your waiter or waitress, we have implemented a "conveyor belt system" where you can simply choose your ingredient from the moving carousel. Each customer will have their own pot and this allows for each individual to choose their own ingredients and cook their own food with their choice of broth to their liking.
On the conveyor belt, there are colored plates of food rotating the belt. Each colored plate corresponds to a color which will correspond to a fixed price. At the end of your dining experience, your waiter or waitress will tally up your plates and your bill will be calculated from there. (Meals tax 6.25% to be included)
